State Electoral District of Morialta
Morialta is derived from a Kaurna aboriginal word 'mariyatala' - 'mari' meaning 'east' and 'yertala' flowing water'.
Area: approx. 94.2km2 Location: Takes in the foothills suburbs and hills area to the east and north-east of Adelaide, the River Torrens / Karrawirra Parri forming the northern boundary. Some boundary changes at the 2007 redistribution. History: Created at the 1998 boundary redistribution (formerly Coles). Members since the seat was first contested in 2002 have been:
