Australian Greens spokesperson for schools Senator Penny Wright has warned inequality in education will continue to rise unless the Abbott Government makes a long-term commitment to fairer school funding.
“The Premier’s long overdue ‘Transport Plan’ announced today contains no commitments, no funding and no timelines. As such, it should be considered a simple list of possible future ideas – many of them decades old* – but it certainly isn’t a ‘Plan’” says SA Greens Leader Mark Parnell MLC.
